Rescue Ready: Narcan, CPR, and Communication

Opioid Response Network: Collaborating, Advancing, Responding & Education

The Fallbrook Regional Health District has teamed up with the American Heart Association and the San Diego National Association of Hispanic Nurses to provide the community with an education curriculum in English & Spanish.

The workshop is aimed to:

• Equip the community with effective communication strategies for engaging with individuals who may have addictions and guiding those conversations.
• Offer hands-on training in basic CPR and AED use.
• Received training on recognizing opioid overdose symptoms and administering Narcan.

Narcan Available

For attending and participating in this workshop, you will receive one (1) unit of Narcan.

El taller está dirigido a:

• Equipar a la comunidad con estrategias de comunicación efectivas para interactuar con personas que puedan tener adicciones y guiar esas conversaciones.
• Ofrecer capacitación práctica en el uso básico de CPR y AED.
• Recibir capacitación sobre cómo reconocer los síntomas de sobredosis de opioides y administrar Narcan.
